Magazite is a premium media marketplace facilitating connections between publishers and advertisers across magazine, newsletter, and podcast formats. We act as an intermediary in all transactions. We do not publish media ourselves.

We collect information in three contexts:

From Publishers: Business name and registration details, contact name and email address, publication details and reach statistics, bank account details for payment disbursement, and any documents submitted during the assessment process (media kits, circulation certificates, platform analytics screenshots).

From Advertisers: Company name, contact details, industry and campaign objectives, budget range and campaign briefs submitted through the platform, and billing information for payments.

From all visitors: Pages visited and time on site via analytics cookies, device type and browser information, and IP address for security and fraud prevention.

We use your information to:

- Assess and approve publisher applications
- Maintain your listing on the platform
- Route advertiser briefs to the appropriate team for review
- Facilitate communication between parties through our managed system
- Process payments and disburse commissions
- Send notifications about your account, briefs, proposals, and campaign status
- Improve the platform and personalise your experience
- Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Publisher email addresses, phone numbers, and direct contact details are never displayed publicly on the platform. Advertisers cannot contact publishers directly through Magazite. All communication is routed through our managed brief system.

This protects publishers from unsolicited contact and ensures all transactions remain within the platform for the protection of both parties.

We share information only where necessary:

Payment processors: We use Stripe to process payments. Stripe receives billing information necessary to complete transactions. Stripe's privacy policy governs their use of that data.

Analytics providers: We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand platform usage. No personally identifiable information is shared with analytics providers.

Legal requirements: We may disclose information where required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or the platform.

We do not share personal information with advertisers or publishers beyond what is necessary to facilitate a confirmed, contracted deal.

We use cookies to keep you logged in, remember your preferences, and understand how the platform is used. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some platform features will not function without them.

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies from third-party ad networks.

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we retain records of completed transactions for seven years for legal and accounting purposes. Brief and proposal data is retained for three years. You may request deletion of personal data not required for legal compliance at any time.

You have the right to:

- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements)
- Withdraw consent for optional data processing
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify active account holders by email of any material changes. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
