Terms of Service

Magazite is a curated, premium media marketplace. We act as a managed intermediary between publishers and advertisers across magazine, newsletter, and podcast formats.

We are not a party to any advertising campaign, placement, or deal. Our role is to facilitate connections, manage the brief and proposal process, and ensure quality on both sides. All campaigns are agreed between the publisher and advertiser, with Magazite acting as the managing layer throughout.

You must be at least 18 years old and authorised to represent your company to use this platform.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Any activity under your account is your responsibility. Notify us immediately at hello@magazite.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, submit false information, or engage in conduct harmful to the platform or its users.

Applying to list on Magazite does not guarantee approval. All applications are assessed by the Magazite team against our editorial and quality standards. We assess reach, audience quality, content standard, pricing integrity, and sector relevance.

We may request supporting documentation including circulation certificates, analytics screenshots, media kits, or sample content. Submitting false or misleading information in an application is grounds for permanent exclusion from the platform.

Assessment decisions are made at our sole discretion. We will communicate the outcome of every application, with reasons provided where an application is declined.

This clause applies to both publishers and advertisers.

Once a publisher and advertiser have been introduced or connected through Magazite in any way, including a profile view, brief submission, proposal, message, or any other platform interaction, all commercial transactions between those two parties must be conducted through the Magazite platform. There is no time limit on this obligation. It applies for the lifetime of the relationship that was initiated here.

This exists to protect the integrity of the platform and the managed experience we provide to both sides.

To enforce this, Magazite never exposes publisher contact details to advertisers, and never exposes advertiser contact details to publishers. All communication is routed through our platform.

Circumventing this by exchanging contact details, moving communication off-platform, or transacting directly to avoid Magazite commission is a breach of these terms and will result in immediate and permanent account termination for both parties involved.

Publisher listing fees are set out on the Pricing page and are payable in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Listing fees are non-refundable once a listing is live.

Commission on placements booked through the platform is charged as a percentage of the total deal value, as set out on the Pricing page. Commission is deducted before payment is disbursed to the publisher.

Brokerage services carry a separate commission structure communicated at the start of each engagement.

We reserve the right to update fees with 30 days notice to active account holders.

By listing on Magazite, publishers agree to:

- Provide accurate and up-to-date reach, audience, and pricing information at all times
- Respond to briefs forwarded by Magazite within 5 business days
- Deliver all confirmed placements as agreed in the proposal
- Upload proof of placement (tearsheet, screenshot, or equivalent) within 7 days of the campaign going live
- Not contact advertisers directly outside the Magazite platform
- Notify Magazite of any material change to their publication, reach, or editorial direction within 30 days

Failure to deliver a confirmed placement without valid cause entitles the advertiser to a full refund, and Magazite may suspend or remove the listing.

By using Magazite as an advertiser, you agree to:

- Submit accurate and complete information in all campaign briefs
- Provide creative assets by the deadlines communicated by the publisher
- Pay the agreed amount in full before a campaign goes live
- Not contact publishers outside the Magazite platform
- Not use the platform to submit speculative or bad-faith briefs

Magazite reserves the right to reject any brief that is misleading, offensive, or inconsistent with the editorial standards of the publications in the directory.

All payments are processed through Stripe. By making a payment on Magazite, you also agree to Stripe's terms of service.

Advertiser payments are held by Magazite until proof of placement is confirmed, at which point funds are disbursed to the publisher minus commission.

Refunds are available where a publisher fails to deliver a confirmed placement. Refunds are not available once proof of placement has been confirmed. Disputes must be raised within 14 days of the campaign end date.

All content on the Magazite platform, including but not limited to the design, copy, index data, and functionality, is owned by Magazite and protected by copyright.

Publishers retain ownership of their media properties and content. By listing on Magazite, publishers grant us a non-exclusive licence to display their publication name, description, cover images, and reach data on the platform for the purpose of marketing their listing.

Advertisers retain ownership of their creative assets. By submitting a brief, advertisers grant Magazite and the relevant publisher a limited licence to use submitted materials for the purpose of the agreed campaign.

Magazite facilitates connections between publishers and advertisers. We are not responsible for the quality, accuracy, or performance of any advertising campaign, placement, or partnership arranged through the platform.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Magazite's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the platform is limited to the fees paid to Magazite in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses including lost revenue, lost business, or reputational damage.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the platform will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

We encourage parties to resolve disputes through direct communication in the first instance. Magazite will mediate where both parties agree to our involvement.
